Athyrium filix-femina or Lady Fern is the most widely grown of its species. |

Damp woodland, garden borders in part or deep shade or sheltered shaded niches in rockeries. |
Cultivation |
In greenhouses, use soilless potting medium with leaf mould if available and use moderate watering. Outside, plant in spring or early summer in medium light, watering well until plants are established. Prune damaged or dead fronds as needed. |
