Origin:  Originated as a sport from C. harringtonia 'Fastigiata' and developed by Richard Fillmore in the 1950's at the Sarah P. Duke Gardens, Durham, North Carolina, United States.

A slow growing plant that is as tall as it is wide. Deep rich green foliage radiate around the branches presenting a very 'tidy formed' plant. A class substitute for any of the spreading yews although not widely available yet!
