General Description
Picea glauca 'The Limey' is a medium-sized, broad, upright conifer tree or shrub with bright lemon-lime coloured needles for which it is named.
Landscape
Best used as a specimen plant since it contrasts nicely with other conifers.
Cultivation
Grow in moist, well-drained soil.
Shape
Pyramidal to rounded.
Growth

Possible problems include: spruce beetle, yellow-headed spruce sawfly, spruce webworm, spruce spider mite, spruce needle rust, rhizosphaera and needle cast.
Habitat
Horticultural origin.
Leaf Description
Needles are short, in spring new growth emerges bright lime green maturing to two-toned: yellow on top and green on the bottom.
