| Cultivation |
| Plant outside in spring, in moist, well-drained soil. Water generously in summer and sparingly in winter. Azoricum is a frost-tender species. In cooler climates, grow in a cool glasshouse or conservatory with minimum temperature 5°C / 40°F or supported in 30 cm pots containing moderately-fertile loam-based soil.
