Oblong-elliptic, dark green above, yellow-white tomentose beneath, 4 - 10 ⨉ 2 - 4 cm with apex acute, margin sinuate-dentate, venation pinnate (secondary veins paired oppositely). |
Fruit Description |
Acorns are 3 - 4 ⨉ 2 cm, oblong-ovoid, cupule (the cup that tops the acorn) scales are erect to reflexed and enclose half or more of the nut. Ripe in the second year. |
