General Description
A compact shrub with silver edged varigation along the typical dark green foilage and small white flowers in spring.
Landscape
A medium sized shrub used for specimen accents and to add a colour interest.
Cultivation
Generally grows well in acidic well drained soils. The media must be quite rich in organic material and is best suited to a light loam or sand.

Dark green leaves with silver edge varigation and small white urn shaped flowers.
Pests
Lacebugs are known to distort the foilage mildy as well as Leaf-spot. Also be wary of Phytophthora root diseases.

Horticultural origin.

An attractive grey/brown exfoliating bark with small vertical fissures.
Leaf Description
New growth has a slight pinkish hue leading to a sivler varigated edge when mature. Generally oblong leaves with older foilage lacking the pink hue and lighter undersides.
Flower Description
Small white urn shaped flowering blooming in early summer.
Colour Description
Boldy varigated silver edging with a mild-dark green foilage.
Propagation
Best propagated by soft-wood cuttings in early summer or semi-hard-wood cuttings in the late summer. The cutting may require bottom heat as they are slow to root.
