General Description
A medium sized shrub that is pleasant to the eye, particularly when its berries are ripe.
ID Characteristic
Distinguishable from the closely related Cotoneaster bullatus by the berries: Cotoneaster bullatus has shiny black berries, whereas Cotoneaster moupinensis has dark red berries.
Habitat
Naturalized garden escape in woodland and lowland.
