General Description
A critically endangered plant with a thick rootstock, a long spur resembling a beak of a dolphin and bears vibrant deep violet flowers. This species is toxic.
Habitat
Base of rocky cliffs and cracks of limestone boulders in full sun.
Leaf Description
Basal leaves resemble that of a palm leaf and can grow to 20 cm in length. Smaller leaves surround the stem.
Flower Description
Deep violet long-spiked flowers with hairy petals emerge from the top of long, thin stems which shoot up from the base of the plant.
