| Leaf Description |
| Ovate or ovate elliptic with 5-8 lateral veins on either side. 1.5 - 3 long and 1 - 2 cm wide. The petiole is 2 - 10 mm long. The bracts are ciliate, 4 - 7 mm long and have elliptic nutlets. |
| Flower Description |
| The penduncle is 2 - 5 mm long but can sometimes be 10 mm. Female species have oblong inflorescence which is erect. The flowers bloom from June to July. |

| Elliptic nutlet with wings half of its width and are produced July through August. |
