Scaly, furrowed and thick, light grey in colour.

Ovoid or subglobose, reddish brown, 4 mm in length.
Leaf Description
Thick, 2-3 lobes, greyish-green and rough with a rounded apex and cuneate base, 3-5 veins on either side of the midvein, 8-15 x 5-12 cm.
Fruit Description
Acorn, elliptical or subglobose, light brown, 1.2-2 cm in length.
