Origin:  Native to the south coast of Western Australia. Adenanthos sericeus was described by Jacques Labillardire in his book Novae Hollandiae Plantarum Specimen published in 1805, it was identified at that time under the name Adenanthos sericea.

Landscape
It may also be trimmed into a pyramidal form and used as a Christmas tree. Suitable for hedging and topiary work as it responds well to pruning and shearing.
