| General Description |
| Many species of Banksia produce lignotubers which enable they to survive fires, Banksia praemorsa does not produce lignotubers and thus is quite sensitive to harsh brush fires. |

| Full sun and partial-shade. Well-drained soil with acid, neutral and alkaline pH. Prefers sandy, clay, loamy, sandy loam and clay loam soils. Tolerates light frost. |
