General Description
‘Akashigata’ favours a position sheltered from cold dry winds. It prefers woodland and acid soils but will tolerate neutral loam as long as it is well drained.
Landscape
May be used as a border planting, or along walls and foundations.

Suitable for woodland and acidic soils. Position in a site sheltered from cold, dry winds and early morning sun as buds and flowers may be damaged by cold winds and late frosts
