Flowering Period
General Description
Spreading plants, grown as an annual, to 0.5 metres in height, with single flowers in shades of pink.
Landscape

Grow in a humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in partial shade with shelter from wind.

Leaf Description
The leaf blade is alternate, ovate to broadly elliptic, sometimes obovate, 5 - 25 cm long and 5 - 10 cm wide, green and sometimes spotted or pink or reddish on the underside.

Single flowers in shades of pink, 2–5 cm diameter, with five petals and a 1 cm spur.
