Not a common plant but one more for the garden collector. The white flowers are unusual on a shrub that looks like and flowers at the same time as the Garden Forsythia. I have yet to see an impressive specimen of this plant but keep hoping.

Cultivation |
Grows well in average soil, preferring full sun. Will tolerate drought, but does not do well in moist conditions. Needs semi-regular pruning (every 3-4 years) to control and maintain shape. |
