Nyssa sylvatica ‘Tupelo Tower” sour gum tree is a slow growing deciduous tree that gives off small juicy dark edible blue fruits that tends to be really sour. The ‘Tupelo Tower’ sour gum tree is usually known as a native tree for it colour and sometimes used as an oriental tree in gardens.
